Minerva Ortiz-Ithier Obituary
Minerva married her beloved husband, Ludger Ortiz-Paradizo, with whom she shared a life rooted in love, family, and dedication. She was a proud and caring mother to her daughters, Cynthia Melissa Laboy-Ithier, Merva-Lynn Alicea-Ortiz, and Mariel Samudio-Ortiz, and a loving mother-in-law to Eric Pagan Toro, Alexie Alicea Figueroa, and Ronald Samudio Garbanzo
She found immense joy in her grandchildren: Derek Pagan Laboy, Christian Pagan Laboy, Alexander Javier Alicea Ortiz, Lexie Sarai Alicea Ortiz, Celeste Amairane Morales Ortiz, Marianna Morales Ortiz, and Sebastian Morales Ortiz, and was deeply blessed to welcome her great-grandchild, Valentina Sofia Palozzi-Morales, into her life.
Minerva will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the unconditional love she gave to her family. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched.
The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623) from 5 PM-7 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, with Minerva's memorial service to follow at 7 PM. Her interment is to be held privately. For those unable to attend the memorial service in person, please click HERE to livestream the service.
