Minerva Arnedo Tejuco passed away surrounded by her loved ones at her home on June 1, 2024 at the age of 92.
Minerva was born on December 28th, 1931 in Sorsogon, Philippines to her Father, Leocadio, and Mother, Consuelo. She had one sibling, her older brother Cleto.
She attended Stanford University where she graduated with a Masters in Business Management. While attending college she met the love of her life Carlos Tejuco. They were happily married for 59 years, until Carlos passed away in 2014.
Together they had seven children and immigrated to the United States. Her family was her world. Minerva's joy in life was hosting her family and friends; bringing them around the dinner table with her magnificent meals that she could whip up effortlessly. Minerva was preceded in death by her husband Carlos, son Leo, and daughter Carla. The family takes solace knowing that they are all together again. A true matriarch, and cornerstone of the family, she is survived by her daughters: Connie, Minnie, Marivic, Marie, Belinda, and their spouses. Minerva is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren: Janae, Joey, Chucky, Elena, Sara, Helen, Adam, Isabella, Nathan, Justin, Olivia, Alec, Elise, and Cristina; and 10 Great-Grandchildren- Keoni, Jordan, Nalani, Emma, Jaiea, Jonah, Luna, Aurora, Ethan, and Colbee.

She taught me how to bake her famous marble pound cake when I was single. And I continued to bake this cake when I married and had children of my own. Yummy!
