Minnie Belle Henderson Brooks, age 84, of Jeffersonville, KY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Minnie was born April 17, 1941, in Morgan Co. KY, to the late Frank and Leona Parks Henderson. Minnie was blessed with a large family and dedicated her life to loving and caring for them. Minnie spent countless hours making quilts for her family. She was a faithful member of the New Cut Road Pentecostal Holiness church.

Minnie is survived by 2 daughters: Jennifer Lawson Watkins of Jeffersonville, Connie Lawson Agee of Jeffersonville; 5 sons: Earl Lawson Jr. of Means, Greg (Faye) Lawson of Jeffersonville, Kevin Lawson of Owingsville, Garry (Samantha) Lawson of Owingsville, Jeff (Kim) Lawson of Jeffersonville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 1 sister Marilyn Shepherd of Jeffersonville.

Besides her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Archie Brooks; 1 son Johnny Lawson; 1 grandson Preston Edward Lawson; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the New Cut Road Pentecostal Holiness church. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Chad Curran and Josh Henderson.

Burial will follow at Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Pallbearers: Hershell Lawson, Bryan Lawson, Ryan Lawson, Wesley Lawson, Trevor Lawson, Seth Lawson

Honorary Pallbearers: Briar Lawson, Keaton Wilson, Trey Lawson, Andy Corey, Robert Dufresne, Bradley Henderson.
