Minnie Ethel Russ

Minnie Ethel Russ, 76, of Tipton, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at IU Health in Fishers. She was born on March 23, 1950 to Carl and Bessie (Burchett) Birdwell in Jamestown, Kentucky.

Minnie worked in healthcare for many years. She enjoyed gardening and canning what she grew. Minnie liked sewing, making quilts, making coffee, and drinking coffee.

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Tim) Craig-Russ, Tami (Tony) Moore, Roxanne (Jim) Goff, Tom (Tammy) Russ, and Tim (Debbie) Russ; son-in-law, Bob Crowell; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sister, Linda (Dan) Hayes

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Russ, Sr., step-daughter, Vickie Crowell, and siblings, Walter Birdwell, Nina Birdwell, Wanda Birdwell, MaryAnn Birdwell, Roy Birdwell, and Darlene Mann.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
