Minnie Ruth Simpson

Minnie Ruth Simpson, age 55, of Anderson S.C., passed Monday February 2, 2026, in Anderson S.C. She was born May 13, 1970, to the daughter of Helen Lee Jones Crawford and the late Arthur Willie Jones. She attended Kings Chapel AME Church. Survivors include her Mother Helen Lee Crawford, husband Lorenzo Simpson, one daughter Brittany Strickland, two sons Andrew Strickland IV, Shawn Strickland, sisters Jacqueline Rickman, and Marcelyn Womack, brothers James Jones, and Steve Lee, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephew, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, and one brother Dale Jones. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Kings Chapel AME Church, burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at Foggie Holloway Funeral Home. The family is at home168 Hudson Circle Hampton Apt # 168, Anderson S.C. .
