Minne Louise Terry, 89, died peacefully in Pittsburg, Ks on March 31st 2025.
Minnie was born on January 5, 1936, in Manchester, Oklahoma, the daughter of Inez Leota, Woodring, Bennett and Joseph Elwin Bennett. Her parents raised seven children on a small farm outside of Manchester, Ok. Minnie graduated high school from Manchester and soon after, married John "Buddy" William, Terry on Feb 11th, 1954. They were together for over 67 years. John, "Buddy" died on May 17th, 2021.
Minnie is survived by her two children; Daughter, Diane Koch (Casey) of Pittsburg, Ks; grandchildren: Kyndra Burgess (Kyle), Shayne Bicknell, Kody Bicknell (Cassie) Shelby Bicknell and Son, Randy Terry (Sarah) of Pittsburg, Ks; grandchild, Tyler Terry (Kelsey); seven great grandchildren; Elle, Jett, Piper, Kage, Cohwyn, Breckyn, and Jane. She is also survived by siblings, Iona Sallee, Bobby Bennett Sr (Carolyn), and Marjorie Simmons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Bryant, Floyd Bennett, and Phillip Bennett.
Mom was a faithful servant and child of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a fervent prayer warrior all her life. Her and dad served many years in the ministry of PITNAZ's children's ministry. Her dedication of sharing the gospel to children was unmatched.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Friday (April 25) at PittNaz Church, 816 E Quincy St, Pittsburg, KS 66762, officiated by Pastor Jim Sukraw. The service will be live streamed at www.brennermortuary.com through Minnie's obituary page. A private family graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm at the National Cemetery, 900 East National Avenue, Ft. Scott, Kansas, 66701.
In lieu of flowers, Mom wished to have gifts in her and Dad's memory to the Children's ministry of PITNAZ church, of which they were faithful members for over 34 years. Arrangements provided by Brenner Mortuary, 11 E 4th St, Pittsburg, Ks 66762
