Miriam Herrera, age 76, passed away on August 19, 2025. Miriam was born on March 28, 1949, to Guadalupe Gomez and Jesus Lara Martinez.

She was self-employed, she owned an antique shop for many years. She had a special gift of seeing the beauty in things that were sometimes overlooked. She took joy in making things that appeared old and worn and brought them up to life and beautiful. In her free time, Miriam enjoyed going to casinos. She will always be remembered for her hard work ethics and her willingness to help family and friends with what she could. Miriam was a loving mother, sister, wife, and grandmother.

Miriam Herrera is preceded in death by her mother, father, and son Jose Ramos.

Miriam is survived by her husband Manuel Herrera, son Rodolfo Herera, grandchildren Rudy, Stephanie, Alexandria, Evan, and Eric, and seventeen great grandchildren Savanna, Pedro, Serenity, Jaythaniel, Sarabella, Jeweleah, Amiabella, Aubreigh, Brianna, Bella, Erianna, Ezra, Lena, Myla, Mariah, Alex, and Rudy and sister Aide Sales and brother Mario Alberto Lara.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Seaside Reid Chapel. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Rodolfo Herrera, Rodolfo Herrera Jr., Evan Herrera, Edgar Chavarria, Mario Lara, and Luis Herrera. The honorary pallbearer is Manuel Herrera.
