Misty Batson Obituary
For the past three years, Misty was a dedicated and familiar face at Jen's Grill (formerly known as Jimmy's),
Misty is preceded in death by her beloved husband, SSGT. James Batson, Jr., and her mother, Sharon Runnel, and her sister, Robin. Their memories remained a guiding light in her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Docen, and Brittany's husband, Kevin Docen; her cherished grandchildren Shelby Weber, Elizabeth Docen, and Tucker Bryant; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Misty's family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in each of them.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. A procession to Barrancas will take place afterward for her burial.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Misty's memory may make donations to: Pensacola Memorial Gardens 7433 Pine Forest Rd. Pensacola, FL 32526
Misty will be remembered for her strength, her compassion, and the love she carried for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever treasured.
