Misty Jo Billingsley Allen age 56 of Watertown passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at her residence.
Preceded in death by father, John Allen Billingsley Sr; mother, Bobby June Malone; and step father, Steve Malone.
She is survived by husband of 30 years, Michael Allen; daughters, Megan Clayborn and Riane Brooke Allen; granddaughter, Sloane Allen; siblings, Diane Steelman, Angela (Richard) Bush, John Allen Billingsley Jr., Shane (Angie) Belcher, Katherine Lynn (Danny) Hudson, and John Malone; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Dottie Allen; sister-in-law, Pamela Allen; friend to the end, Michele Foster Fuller; nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Born in Spain into a proud military family, Misty's early life was marked by adventure and resilience. Her journey eventually brought her to Lebanon, where she attended Lebanon High School and built lifelong friendships that she treasured deeply.
Together, Misty and Mike built a home filled with love, humor, and care. She was a proud mother and an adoring Na-Na, titles she wore with absolute joy. Nothing meant more to her than time spent with Mike and her girls.
Her career was dedicated to service and compassion. For 15 years she worked with Cumberland Mental Health, touching countless lives with her kindness and steady heart. Later, as patient concierge at Lebanon Health and Rehab, she continued to be a source of comfort, laughter, and encouragement to all she met.
Misty loved traveling to the beach, searching for peace in the sound of the waves, and cherished trips to mountains. Maine held a special place in her heart where she and Mike celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. She was a loyal friend, always ready to lend a hand, offer a listening ear, or jump into a spirited political debate-always determined to get in the last word.
In her younger years, Misty was an avid reader, feeding her curious mind. She had a remarkable knack for retaining the most unuseful bits of knowledge, and she delighted in sharing those fun facts at just the right moment to make everyone laugh or shake their head in wonder.
Misty's life was one of generosity, strength, humor, and unshakable devotion to those she loved. She will be remembered for her fierce loyalty, lively conversations, and the way she made every person feel valued. Though she has left this earthly home, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Her family celebrates a life well-lived, full of love, and lasting memories.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Buckeye Drugs for their strong support. As well as Drew Hudgins and the nurses with Gentiva Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Sherry's Hope.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Partlow Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. until the service.
