Misty Louise (Blodgett) Dyer, aged 53, passed away on October 10, 2025, in Ardmore, OK. She was born on March 23, 1972, in Healdton, OK, to Mr. Jimmy Ray Blodgett and Mrs. Minnie Lou (Brown) Blodgett.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson, with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Reck Cemetery.
Misty was raised in Wilson and graduated from Wilson High School in 1990. She pursued her passion for cosmetology by attending Southern Oklahoma Technology Center in Ardmore. Throughout her career, she held various positions; however, her most cherished role was caring for Jacobi Shayne, whom she loved like her own son. Misty found joy in numerous activities, including spending time at the lake, camping, tanning, shopping, and adoring her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Lou Blodgett; her cousin, Jacobi Shayne whom she loved like her own; and her grandparents, John and Beatrice Blodgett, and Earl Lee and Edna Brown.
Misty is survived by her father, Jimmy Blodgett of Wilson; her brother, Jody Blodgett and wife Kara of Wilson; niece and nephew, Addison and Jayden Blodgett; along with other special friends and family who will miss her dearly.
Pallbearers for the service will include Jody Blodgett, Jaime Blodgett, Scotty McBride, Larry McBride, Shawn Sanders, and Levi Shepard.
Visitation for friends and family will take place on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home.
