Misty Carol Davis, age 50, passed away peacefully at her home in Leonard, Texas on Sunday, January 18, 2026. She was born on January 17, 1976, in McKinney, Texas to Dedrick Ray Davis and Glenna "Glenda" Mae (Jackson) Davis.
Misty was a devoted mother, loving sister, and loyal friend. She had a deep love for life and the rare gift of seeing the good in everyone she met. Her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit touched countless lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: son Jaxon Smith, bonus daughters Siana Coble, and Presley Smith. She is also survived by her brothers Ricky Ray Davis, Robert Dwayne Davis, and Kelly Kindle and his wife Linda, and her sister Jill Kindle. Misty is also survived by the father of her children, Arthur Smith Jr., as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. including Michelle Chambers Brown and Janice Patterson and many others who loved her too deeply to list.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dedrick and Glenda Davis; her boyfriend, Gene Graham; and her sister-in-law, Sheri Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Bold Cross Cowboy Church, located at 11540 State Highway 69, Whitewright, Texas 75491.
The family kindly asks that all attendees wear green, Misty's favorite color, in her honor.
Misty was truly loved and will be forever remembered. Rest in peace.
