Guy Ely Obituary
Guy will be remembered by his daughter, Chris Ely of Whitewright, Texas; brother in law, Robert Lee; nieces and nephews, Mark Shepherd, Debi Fortner, Donny Layman, Amanda McKinney, Doug McKinney, Rusty Turner, Roni Hamm, Melissa Kells, and Randall Lee; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Alice Ely; wife, Dorothy Sue Ely; and sister, Bonnie Ely Lee.
A graveside service will be held at 10AM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. The family will have a private gathering from 4-5pm and a public visitation from 5-7pm, Monday, December 8, 2025, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home in Whitewright, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Whitewright Public Library or your favorite charity.
