Misty Melton-Stewart Obituary
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Jerry Huggins officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Misty was born on December 23, 1975, in Amarillo, TX to Jan and David Melton. She graduated from Randall High School in 1994. Misty was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and niece. She had the biggest heart and passion of caring for others. Misty never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation like she knew you for years. What she loved the most was her late-night talks with her mother, watching football with her son, and camping in the mountains with her family.
She is survived by her son, Hunter Stewart and wife Andie of Fort Hood, TX; mother and father, Jan and David Melton of Amarillo, TX; brother, Brian Melton and wife Brooke of Amarillo TX; two nephews, Bryce and Breken Melton of Amarillo, TX; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

We were neighbors with David and Janet for a good while. They were the most caring neighbors and Misty was just adorable. My husband had red hair and Misty was so afraid of him. She was a doll and she's missed dearly. She and Anthony are are having a good time.
