Misty Marie Smith

Misty Marie Smith, 54, of Talladega, AL passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Stockdale Baptist Church with David Gaither officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the ceremony at Stockdale Baptist Cemetery.

Misty was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and attended Talladega High School. She was a former employee at Legacy Cabinets and Welborn Cabinets. She was a member of Stockdale Baptist Church and was an avid University of Alabama fan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas McKeehan, and grandparents, Edwin "Jimbo" and Tressie Marie Knight.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Shon Smith; daughter, Bryclyn "Bryce" Smith; son, Jacob Smith; parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Allen; sisters, Candy Franklin, Stacy Sparkman (Scott), and Stephanie McNeal (Deon); brothers, Shay McKeehan and Kerrigan McKeehan; nieces, Savannah Franklin, Anne Marie Franklin, Molly Sparkman, and A'lissa McNeal, and nephews, Dillon Franklin, Zaylen Swain, Corbin Swain, and Deuce Robertson.

Scott Sparkman, Dillon Franklin, Austin Horsley, Shay McKeehan, Corbin Swain, and Dawson Franklin will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, Misty's family asks that donations be made towards her funeral expenses at Usrey Funeral Home, 516 North Street E., Talladega, AL 35160.
