Emma Williams

Born on January 17, 1950, in Talladega, Alabama, she was a shining light in our lives and the beloved daughter of Jim Richmond Keith and Elzora Curry Keith. Emma was a woman of steadfast faith, having accepted Christ at a young age and united with Antioch Baptist Church, where she found community and fellowship.

Emma received her education through the Talladega County School System, where she attended Antioch School. Her industrious spirit led her to a fulfilling career with Tyson Foods in the poultry industry, where her contributions were valued until health challenges brought her retirement.

A passionate cook, Emma found joy in the warmth of her kitchen, crafting meals filled with love. Her laughter and heartfelt conversations on the phone with family and friends were cherished moments, weaving a tapestry of love that will resonate through the years to come.

Mrs. Emma Keith Williams departed this earthly realm on the morning of February 6, 2026 in the comfort of her home. Emma's life journey, though filled with challenge, was adorned with love and laughter. She now rests peacefully, reunited with her cherished parents, Jim and Elzora, as well as her beloved sisters-Annette Whiteside, Mildred Johnson, and Carrie Swain-and brothers-Jimmy L. Keith, James H. Keith, and Willie Keith, who all preceded her in death.

Emma leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, embodied in her devoted son, Chris (Lakeisha) Williams and her beloved daughter, Dorlene Hill. She is also survived by her treasured sisters, Nettie Keith, Mannie Jones, Annie (Jerome) Jackson, and Mae Lena Stockdale-along with special nieces Karen Swain, Samantha Keith, and Ameliona Jackson; seven grandchildren, D'Aaron Williams, Cortlin Curry, Christopher Williams, Jr., Christopher Markhel Williams, Quinterrius White, Chrishawn Williams, and Chrisharius Williams who will forever carry her memory in their hearts; along with a wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

In this time of reflection, we ask all who knew and loved Emma to join us in a celebration of her life, as we gather to share stories, honor her legacy, and remember the joy she brought into our lives. Let us carry her spirit forward with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family, just as she did.
