Misty Dawn Williams, 50 of Francisco passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born April 25, 1975 in Evansville to John L. and Paula J. (Dunkel) Straw.

Misty had lived in Gibson County all of her life and had worked at Azteca Milling Co. near Evansville as a Crew Chief for several years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, being outside enjoying nature and collecting turtle figurines.

Misty is survived by her children, Mark Williams (Sarah Barnes) of Newburgh, Payton Williams and Maddie Williams both of Spurgeon; step-son, Zane Armstrong of Evansville; siblings, Shannel Whitehead of Francisco, Teresa Cullivan (David) of Francisco, Tina Bethe (Richard) of Spurgeon, Johnnie Gatewood (Tracey Powell) of Spurgeon, Donald Gatewood of Maryland, Lori McClellan (Darren) of Elberfeld, LaDonna Straw (Mike Howard) of Princeton; and fiancé, Fred Wilkerson of Oakland City.

Misty was preceded in death by her parents, John L. Straw and Paula J. Eagan; and a sister, Lana Boyle.

The family will host a gathering to celebrate Misty's life at a later date. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton will conduct a graveside service which will also be held at a later date.
