Mitchell "Mitch" Tracey Bass, Jr., 37, was called home to reside in Heaven on November 3, 2023, after a short stay in Santa Rosa Hospital.
Mitch has been a lifelong resident of the Milton, Santa Rosa County area. He was born in Pensacola, Florida to his parents, Mitchell "Tracey" Bass and Cheryl Hopkins on September 29, 1986. All of his life, he has excelled at working with his hands, and he became a Master Plumber early in his working career. Mitch enjoyed working with people and was a natural leader, always upbeat. He was always there for anyone that needed a helping hand, or just a helping conversation. He always had a smile on his face, even if he didn't feel like smiling. Mitch would truly give you the shirt off of his back and his desire to help was paramount in his life. He was loyal to a fault and if Mitch was on your side, you had no better friend, and his friends knew this. He will be so greatly missed by so many people.
He was proceeded in death by several important people in his life including his grandmothers, Granny Hopkins and Little Granny.
Mitch leaves behind his loving wife, Katrina "Trina" Bass; and their four children, Bailyn, James, Hybrid, and little Pearl; brother, Cody Bass; sister, Brianna Hughes; father, Tracey Bass; mother, Cheryl Hopkins; grandparents, Don and Barbara Bass; nephews, Hayden and Easton Hughes; uncle, Scott Bass; and enough cousins and extended family to fill up this page.

I met Mitch swimming in the Sam looking for gators. His knowledge in the field was coming over the top. He taught me so much and ill miss him. When I had the horses and the pasture flooded he was there to help if I needed. Always with a smile. Mitch was so sweet to me even though Im an old lady he always had time for me. So long pal. We had so much more swimming to do. RIP my friend until we meet again.
