Mitchell Creg Blackwell

Mitchell “Creg” Blackwell of Biggers, AR, departed this earthly life on December 24, 2025, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Creg worked as a carpenter and a plumber in his life. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Canyon, Kinlee, and Cruz. He also enjoyed being outdoors; he loved hunting and fishing.

Creg is preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Blackwell; Parents, Lehman and Jewel Blackwell; Grandparents, Cleo and Mozella Griffin; and Brother, Jeffery Blackwell

He is survived by his 5 children, Mitchel Blackwell, Velvett Stepp, Satin Carpenter, Don Blackwell all of West Virginia, and Justin Powell of Pocahontas; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Lavon (Linda) Blackwell of Pocahontas, Danita (David) Powell of Poplar Bluff, James (Tina) Blackwell of Maynard, Dena (Allen) Rogers of Pocahontas, Diane (David) Pearson of Pocahontas, and Ricky Blackwell of Biggers. He also had many nieces, nephews, friends, and family who will always remember and cherish the memories that they made with Creg.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday, January 4 at the Reyno Community Center in Reyno.
