McNabb Funeral Home - PocahontasPhyllis Ann Hanson, 86, of Maynard was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 8, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Phyllis was born to James Lorenzo Corman and Marjorie Ann Orr on October 21, 1939, in Arizona. She was a member of Pocahontas First Free Will Baptist Church. She loved growing flowers and doing crafts but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Corman and Marjorie Russell and stepfather, Max Russell.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth O Hanson of the home; children, Steve (Debbie) Ayers, Connie (Jeremy) Davis, Kenneth (Beth) Hanson and Kevin (Karina) Hanson; grandchildren, Bradley Ayers, Joshua Jones (Chris Junkerman), Preston Jones, Carisa Wade, Kason Davis, Kenneth Hanson, and London Hanson; two great-grandchildren, Alayiah Ayers and Emmaline Wade; she also leaves behind a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with the funeral to begin at 2:00 p.m. with Nelson Henderson officiating. All services will be held at the Pocahontas First Free Will Baptist Church with the burial to follow in the Maynard Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Bradley Ayers, Joshua Jones, Preston Jones, Chris Junkerman, Kenneth Hanson, London Hanson and Chase Atchley.
Honorary pallbearer is Carisa Wade.
