Jerald George Ferrero, 89, of Biggers passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at his home.
He was born April 7, 1936 in Braidwood, Wisconsin to the late Alexander and Myrtle Berger Ferrero. Jerald devoted many years to serving as a bus driver for the Chicago Transit Authority. He loved to eat out at restaurants and to travel with his wife. He and Judy visited many different states and 31 countries.
Jerald was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Myrtle Ferrero; granddaughters, Desiree and Tiffany Huckabee; great-grandsons, Billy Huckabee and Justin Froehike; and his sister, Judy Smiley.
Jerald is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judith Olson Ferrero; his children, Leslie Huckabee (Willy Simmons), Lisa Phillip (Gary Odell), Jeffery Ferrero (Bonnie Ellert), Lori Cline, and Steven (Tina) Ferrero; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition and no services are scheduled at this time.
All services are under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
