Mitchell A. Burke, 32, of Worcester, passed away on December 31, 2024
Mitchell is survived by his daughter and light of his life, Charlotte Burke and her mother Michelle Johnson; his mother, Karen Hill; his brother, Dennis Burke, Jr. and his wife Kaleigh; aunts on his mother’s side, Cheryl Leonard and her husband Robert and their son, Bryan Leonard; Susan McManus and her husband Daniel; on his father’s side several aunts, uncles, cousins, including his cousin, Meaghan Burke who was more like a sister, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Dennis Burke Sr.; by his maternal grandparents, Frederick and Carol Hill; by his paternal grandparents; and by his cousin Matthew Leonard.
Mitchell was born in Brockton but was raised and lived his life in Worcester. Mitchell was his mother's greatest blessing from God. He gave her the strength to always keep moving forward and now she will continue to do that with Charlotte in mind. Mitchell would always lend an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on to all his friends. Mitchell will be incredibly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Calling Hours will be on Thursday, January 16, from 4 pm until 7 pm with a Funeral Service at 7 pm in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
