Mitchell Jay Grayson was born on September 30, 1950, in Covington, Kentucky. He passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2025, in Cynthiana, Kentucky.
Mitchell was a kind and humble man. He was very intelligent and had a lot of knowledge about many subjects. He served in the Army and was a proud veteran. Mitchell loved animals and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Melody Grayson (nee Evans), and his son, Mitchell L. Grayson. He also had a step-daughter, Virginia Echols, and a step-son, Austin Echols. His family includes a grandchild, Amari Grayson, and step-grandchildren, Jacob Echols, Jenna Guilyard Stolz and Alex Guilyard. Mitchell is survived by his sister, Carrie Mae Jackson, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Mitchell is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Grayson, and his mother, Sally Mae Grayson (nee Sanders). He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Per Mitchell's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
