Mitchell Leon King, 77 of Eufaula, Ok., passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Muskogee, Ok., Mitchell was born on August 24,1948 in New Hampshire. Mitchell enlisted in the United States Navy in 1966 and proudly served his country until he was honorably discharged. Mitchell married Ellen Jean Pelis on March 7, 1984 in North Fork, Virginia and together they shared forty-one years of marriage.
Mitchell is survived by his wife of the home; Ellen Jean King; his daughters; Jeannie Kay Edwards, Jessica Ward, Jamie King and Penny Karnes, his sons; Gerald Shaffer, Tim Beaty and Ajay King, one sister Sue King. Grandchildren; Tiffany Bray, Tabatha Humphreys, Matthew Chezem, Braydon Murphy, Jessica Utley, David Allen Utley, Cameron Pickett, Johnathan Hadley, Randa Edwards, Jeremy Campton and eight more in Mississippi. Great-grandchildren; Chris Fowler, Justin Bray, Jaydin Bray, Jeremiah Chezem, Trinity Chezem, Chloe Chezem, Lucy Chezem and many more.
Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved son Ajay King, one brother; Mark King, one uncle; Bob, two brothers-in-law; Lewie and Tom Pelis, two sisters-in-law; Janet and Joyce Pelis and one great grand daughter; Trinity Chezem.
