Rosetta Mae King, 95, formerly of Chillicothe, Ohio passed 12:25 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Four Winds Community, Jackson, Ohio.

Rosetta was born July 27, 1930, in Ross County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Andrew Troy Estep and Hannah Lillian (Hurles) Estep. On September 19, 1949, she was united in marriage to Edward A. King who preceded her death April 9, 2002.

She is survived by her son, Edward King and wife Martha; eight grandchildren, Thomas C King Jr, Christopher (Amber) King, Angela (Chad) Hoffner, Edward G King Sr, Rebecca (Jeff) Malek, Phillip (Cathy) King, Melissa (Ben) Belhorn, and Roxanna (Paul) Adkins; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Tammy Marie King and Brenda Parkins; son, Thomas C King Sr; grandson, George Parkins; and five siblings, Bud Estep, Donna Ball, Darlene Slane, Fern Heslop, and Florence Gilmore.

Rosetta was a devoted homemaker whose life was marked by deep faith, kindness, and a gentle spirit. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She took great pride in preserving her family's heritage and sharing those stories with her children and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2026, at St Mary's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Ohio with Monsignor Frank Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.

The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly.
