Jeffery Benjamin Baker

Jeffery Benjamin Baker, age 66 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Jeff was born on August 4, 1959, in Newark, Ohio, where he grew up and later would graduate from Newark High School. After high school, Jeffery served his country in the US Army. Later, he retired from the City of Columbus Department of Refuse after many years of service. Jeff's hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing, cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Green Bay Packers. Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially the grand babies. He is preceded in death by father-in-law, Mike Bush. Survived by mother, Margaret Baker; his loving wife of 33 years, Tina Marie Baker; children, Katie Baker, Lindsey Baker, Brad (Jessica) Brown and Jeffery (Ashley) Baker; grandkids; brother, Terry (Cynthia) Baker; mother-in-law, Sharon Bush; brother-in-law, Michael (Cory) Bush; nieces, nephews and aunts. Jeff and Tina's pets, Blu and PC. The family is honoring Jeff's request for a private service.
