Mitchell Joel Stevens, age 32, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away August 15, 2024. He entered this life on February 15, 1992, the son of Anthony and Sheri (Stone) Stevens in Springfield, Missouri. He grew to be a gentle giant who never knew a stranger, saw the unseen, and was kind to all. His family and friends were everything to him, and he did his best to always make sure they knew it. Mitch loved people big and has left a hole in all of our hearts because we loved him right back.
Mitchell is survived by his parents: Anthony and Sheri Stevens of Hollister, Missouri; sister, Kelsey Stevens Springer and husband, Matt of Swarts Creek, Michigan; nieces: Addie and Casey. He is survived by his grandma, Bobbie Stone, numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, and more friends than you can count.
He is preceded in death by grandparents: Ron and Joanne Stevens and Art Stone.
There will be a celebration of life held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 174 Dundee Road, Hollister, Missouri 65672. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a Facebook page "4MitchStevens" and ask that you do something kind for someone else in Mitchell's honor then post it to the page with the hashtag #4mitchstevens. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
