Mitch was our classroom's sage.

Mitch was a wonderful friend. We became quick friends swimming at West Shore Community College. He would ask questions about my classroom and a long story short, he became a guest speaker. During our weekly entitled "Age Accumulate Wisdom" he would be our "SAGE" guest. We would work through a timeline of his life - we would tease him about being older than bubble gum (invented in 1928). He truly love our kids and we loved him. He will always be a star in my teaching career. I miss you my friend and think of you often.

I just lost a long time friend, mentor and business associate. Mitch brought me into the Herff Jones family and allowed me the opportunity to be a member of that family for my entire career.
He touched the lives of thousand across this nation and memories of him will live on even though he may no longer be with us.
May he now rest in in peace in the arms of Jesus.

I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Vogel's passing. I am the former clerk of the Onekama post office and he was my absolute, most favorite customer. I always looked forward to him visiting because I knew when he left, I was all that much wiser. He had so much life lessons to share and stories... He taught me a lot about stamps and shared his stamp magazines with me. I will never forget how kind he was, his bright smile, and his cheery attitude about everything. My thoughts are with all the family at this time.

I have great memories of Mitch as a kind, thoughtful, and caring man who gave his all for his community! He was a great asset to PARKE County Emergency Services and was beneficial in establishing Parke County EMA. He helped all responders to better serve the community and made are jobs much easier. He is missed. Thank you for sharing Mitch with us.

Mitch and I worked at St. Joe's food pantry for a number of years, weighing food items and totalling the amount for the records. What happy memories I have of our time together....such a kind, thoughtful man. May your family's memories of Mitch sustain you. Fondly, Ron and Tina Hall
