Mitchell Lee Wells, age 54 of East End, Arkansas passed into the arms of the Lord on September 23, 2023. He was born in Little Rock on September 26, 1968.
Mitchell grew up in Little Rock with his 2 brothers and many cousins. He was an avid hunter and loved to camp with his family and friends. He also loved to watch his kids play sports. He had a long career in law enforcement from Little Rock, Wrightsville, Pulaski County Sheriffs office, Saline County constable, and the FPS.
He and his wife, Toni Wells, were married July 2, 2005. They were married for 18 blessed years. She was the true love of his life. You rarely would see one without the other. He loved his family with his whole heart. He was blessed with 2 boys and 2 girls and 1 sassy granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hosea and Mildred Wells and Charles Carr and Dorthy Carr.
Mitchell is survived by his parents, Hosie Lee and Patricia Mae Carr Wells; his brothers Charles Wells (Kim) of Butte, Montana and Chris Wells (Jodie) of Anaconda, Montana; his loving wife Toni Wells of East End, Arkansas; his sons Jacob Wells (Kari) of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Lance Wells (Bre) of Jefferson, Arkansas, Katie and Kerrigan Wells of East End, Arkansas; and granddaughter Felicity Wells of Jefferson, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. A celebration of Mitch's life will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 2:00 PM in the Smith Little Rock Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Corinth Cemetery in Ico.
