Mitzi Elizabeth Jones Robinson, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and treasured friend entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 29, 2025. Her legacy of love and faith blessed the lives of all who knew her.
Born on August 6, 1966, in Chattanooga, TN, Mitzi was the daughter of Lake and Judy Condra Jones. She was a 1984 graduate of Cleveland High School and a graduate of Cleveland State Community College. Mitzi's life was filled with warmth, compassion, and an enduring love for her family and for the Lord. Her deep faith was a guiding light throughout her life, evident in the way she loved, listened, and gave so freely of herself. She found strength and peace in her walk with God, and her devotion was a source of comfort and inspiration to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Robinson, her father, Lake Jones, and her grandparents, Ben and Dorothy Condra. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with them.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Robinson; daughters, Holly Ponce (Josue), and Ashley Baker (Lee); mother, Judy Jones;sister, Allison Mizell (Jim); grandchildren, Caleb & Liam Baker and Jade & Julia Ponce, sister-in-law, Stephanie West (Alex); brother-in-law, Jeff Robinson (Melissa), along with several beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and bonus children, Angely Cabrera and Aaron Kinney.
Mitzi's faith was central to her life. As an active member of Westwood Baptist Church, she could be found most Sunday mornings working in the preschool department and on Wednesday evenings, working faithfully as she had for many years in the AWANA program.
A celebration of Mitzi's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 6th, at Westwood Baptist Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-4 p.m. We hope you can join us in remembering the joy and love she brought into our lives. The service will also be live streamed for those who cannot attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Westwood Preschool Ministries.
