It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Mohamed A. Clarke, who departed this life on October 10, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born on October 4, 1937, to Sarah Francis & Alfred Clarke Sr., Mohamed lived a full and meaningful life devoted to his family, friends, and community. He was known for his strength, fiery spirit, integrity, and unwavering kindness-a man whose presence brought comfort and strength to those around him.
Predeceased in death by parents Sarah Francis & Alfred Clarke Sr., Brothers Anthony, Creswell, & Hayward Romer, and his beloved granddaughter Melody Alana Rose. Mohamed was the beloved husband of Maria Cecilia Clarke, cherished father of Lisa & Julius Price, Yvette, Renee, Alfred & Dee Dee Clarke, Kayrome & Eddy Durandisse, Sarah, Abraham, Fatimah, Mona, Sara, Karim & Luna, Yasmin Clarke & Oluwole Olanipekun, and proud grandfather & uncle of 20 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. He will also be fondly remembered by his brothers Granville, Kendal, & Justin Romer, extended family, friends, and all who were touched by his generous spirit.
Throughout his life, Mohamed served his country as a skilled power plant engineer for close to 50 yrs. He served alongside military personnel from across the globe as part of the Multi-National Force and Observers in the Sinai Peninsula, as well as assignments to Greenland, Egypt, and Asia. His commitment and belief in helping others defined his legacy. Beyond his work, he found joy in music, traveling, and photography.
Mohamed's life was one of quiet strength, faith, and compassion. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
