Mohammad Aslam Gill, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2026, in Brownstown, Michigan.
Born with a deep curiosity and commitment to service, Aslam lived a life defined by knowledge, discipline, and care for others. He devoted his professional life to engineering and healing, earning respect across multiple fields. He served as Chief Engineer at the VA Hospital, where his leadership and expertise supported critical infrastructure serving veterans. He also shared his knowledge as a Professor of HVAC at Wayne County Community College, shaping generations of students through education and mentorship. In addition to his engineering career, Aslam was a homeopathic doctor, known for his compassion and dedication to holistic care.
Aslam was preceded in life by meaningful accomplishments and lasting contributions, but his greatest legacy is his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Musarrat; his children, Naveed (James), Ghazala, Ghulam, Asif, and Shazy (John); and his cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Rachel, Leah, Tabitha, Josiah, Rebecca, Josh, and Sam.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, educator, and healer, Aslam was admired for his intellect, integrity, and quiet strength. He will be remembered for his lifelong dedication to learning, his willingness to teach and guide others, and his unwavering love for his family.
His memory will live on in the many lives he touched, both personally and professionally.
