Moises Pacheco, 83, of Passaic passed away on July 31, 2025. Born in Sabana Grande Puerto Rico, he traveled to the US in 1957 and lived in Florida and Madina, NY, before settling in Passaic 63 years ago. Moises worked as an auto body mechanic for GMC Truck Center, Lyndhurst, for 30 years before retiring. He was a diehard NY Mets fan who loved cars and playing dominos and the lottery.

Beloved husband of Gudelia (Velazquez) Pacheco. Devoted father of Nilda Pardo and Magali Pacheco. Loving grandfather of Jay-Lynn Mia Perez and Haylee Ann Pardo. He will be greatly missed by his furry great-grandchild Canito Pacheco-Perez.

Visiting Sunday, Aug. 3, 2 – 6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday, Aug. 4, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.

Moisés Pacheco, de 83 años, residente de Passaic, falleció el 31 de julio de 2025. Nacido en Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, viajó a Estados Unidos en 1957 y vivió en Florida y Medina, Nueva York, antes de establecerse en Passaic hace 63 años. Moisés trabajó como mecánico de carrocería en GMC Truck Center, Lyndhurst, durante 30 años antes de jubilarse. Era un fanático incondicional de los Mets de Nueva York, le encantaban los autos, jugar al dominó y la lotería.

Amado esposo de Gudelia (Velázquez) Pacheco. Padre devoto de Nilda Pardo y Magali Pacheco. Abuelo cariñoso de Jay-Lynn Mia Pérez y Haylee Ann Pardo. Su bisnieto peludo, Canito Pacheco-Pérez, lo extrañará profundamente.

Velorio el domingo 3 de agosto, de 2 a 6 PM, en la Funeraria Shook, ubicada en 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. El funeral se realizará el lunes 4 de agosto a las 8:45 AM en la funeraria y a las 10 AM en la Iglesia Católica de Our lady of Mt. Carmel, Passaic. El entierro en el Cementerio Conmemorativo Crest Haven, Clifton.
