Molly May King Guy, 98, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.

Molly was Born on May 18, 1925 in Joliet, Illinois and was raised in Wheaton, Illinois.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Physical Therapy. In Madison, she met the love of her life, John Robert Guy II, while both were in school.   On June 26, 1948 she married Dr. John “Jack” R. Guy II.

Molly dedicated her long life to her family and community. She was a loving and supportive mother to her four children, Ted, Jan, Mike, and John.

Molly was an active member of the community involved in many local organizations, including the  Waukesha Service Club, the Ideas Club, and the American Field Service of Waukesha. Her leadership in these organizations inspired those around her.

Molly was known for making a positive impact. Her contributions extended far beyond the organizations mentioned, touching the lives of many in ways too numerous to mention. In her private life she and Jack were avid Serbian folk dancers. They helped bring  medical equipment to Kazakhstan.  Molly took up watercolor painting in her later years.

Molly will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Molly is survived by her children Ted Guy; Michael (Lynn) Guy: and John R. (Mary) Guy, III.  Molly was the grandmother to Andrew (Shelly) Berklund, Shannon (Derek) Slicker, Alexandra (Kendall) Strand, John R. (Mariella) Guy, IV, Catherine (Andrew) Carver. She was the great-grandmother to Nate, Emma, Natalie, Joey, Claire, Fiona, Hannah, Mackenzie, Jackson, Jocelyn and Briley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, 2 brothers, and her daughter, Janet Berklund.

A memorial service to celebrate Molly's life will be held on December 15, 2023 at St Matthias Church in Waukesha Wisconsin with a gathering from 10 am to noon and a church service at 12:00. A reception will be held at the church after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Molly Guy's memory to American Field Service or the Waukesha Service Club.
