Molly K. Wyatt

Molly Wyatt, 68, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025 at her home in Fairfax Station, Virginia. She was the beloved wife of John Wyatt. They shared 36 years together.

Born in Charleston, Missouri, She was the daughter of Joseph and Maria Ketterer. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 1979. She worked for Sallie Mae and then the US Department of Education until retiring in 2015.

She was a member of Saint Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church and sang in their choir for many years. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, spending time with family and watching movies. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, as well as her loving and caring nature.

She is survived by her spouse John Wyatt, her children Elizabeth Wyatt and Richard Wyatt, her brothers Raymond Katterer and Albert Ketterer, her dog Bailey and her cats Sadie and Fluffy. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Maria Ketterer, her brother Mark Ketterer and her sister Donna Ketterer.

The funeral service will be held on December 12 at 11:00 am at St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church, 10500 Zion Dr Church, Fairfax, VA 22032 with interment at the Old St Mary's Catholic Church cemetery. The viewing will be held on December 12, from 8:30am to 10:30am at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road Fairfax, VA 22032.
