Hobert Thomas "Tom" Wyatt

Hobert Thomas "Tom" Wyatt, 73, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. Tom was born on April 6, 1952, in Waynesville, North Carolina, to the late Hobert and Irene Wyatt (Gardner). Tom lived a full and joyful life, guided by his deep love for family and his unwavering loyalty to the things he cherished most. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling whenever he could. Tom was also an avid golfer and a devoted sports fan, faithfully cheering on the Atlanta Braves, the Georgia Bulldogs, and his beloved UNC Tar Heels. Yet, of all his interests, nothing compared to the time he spent with his family, which was truly his greatest joy. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jimmie Lynn Mann. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Kelly Wyatt (Brinson); his children, Amanda Coker (Binky) of Kathleen, GA, Russell Smith (Crystal) of Warner Robins, GA, and Katie Shikany (Charlie) of Atlanta, GA; and his seven grandchildren-Reese Thompson (Dalton), Paige Coker, Jacob Coker, Cort Smith, Brinsley Staples (Matthew), Annie Smith, and Lincoln Smith-as well as his great-grandchild, Arlo Thompson. Tom is also survived by his sisters, Sandra Bumgardener (Danny) of Sylva, NC, and Kathy Lowery (Glenn) of Charlotte, NC. A service celebrating Tom's life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Reverend Trea Brinson will officiate. Tom's warmth, humor, and steadfast love will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
