Mona Sandoval was born in Flagstaff, Arizona on November 26, 1960. She passed away on January 7, 2024, after a tough 6 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was raised in Flagstaff by her parents Eugenio and Olivia Alonso. Mona attended Guadalupe Catholic School and Flagstaff High School.
She loved her grandkids, trips to Hawaii and California, family vacations, and cooking. Mona was always taking in family members with her generous heart. In her younger years she loved bowling; in her later years she liked casinos and bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years Louis Sandoval; sons, Andrew (Raquel) Rojo, Daniel Sandoval and Anthony Sandoval; grandchildren, Leonardo, Alana, Amaya, Aliah, Madison, Daylin and Danalea; and her sister, Sandra.
Visitation will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary, Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 5:00-6:00 pm, with Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
