Eulalio R. Sandoval Jr., 72, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. Eulalio was born on August 15, 1953, in Mathis, Texas, to Eulalio and Olga Sandoval Sr. He retired as a propane truck driver. Eulalio was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Eulalio was preceded in death by his loving wife, Esperanza Sandoval; his parents, Eulalio and Olga Sandoval Sr.; and siblings, Maria F. Sandoval, Yolanda Rodriguez, Luz Divina Garcia, and Christobal Sandoval.

Eulalio is survived by his daughter, Hilaria (Gabriel) Ortiz, and his beloved grandchildren, Marivel (Dominic Soto) Ortiz, Gabriel (Amanda) Ortiz, and Carmelo Ortiz. Eulalio is also survived by his siblings, Chriselia (Ruben) Rodriguez, David Sandoval, Ricky (Blassa) Sandoval, Adolfo Hismo Sandoval, and Eulalio (Rosalinda) Sandoval III, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Calvary Mennonite Church in Mathis, Texas, on Saturday, February 21, 2026. A Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 11:00am with the Funeral Service to be held by Pastor Calderon at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Descanso Eterno Cemetery #2.

Pallbearers will be Joel Sandoval, Adrian Sandoval, Jaime Sandoval, Zack Rodriguez, Eulalio Sandoval III, and Jesse Alvarado. Cohen James Soto will be an honorary pallbearer.
