Monda Horne Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Monda Joyce Horne, age 84, will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Horne, a retired secretary for the Bradford Medical Center, was born in Gibson County on September 2, 1940, and passed away surrounded by many who loved her on December 27, 2024, at her residence in Bradford, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mattie Smith Moore; one son, Brian Donald Horne; and one grandchild, Alex Steele.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Horne of Bradford; two daughters, Michelle (Keith) Steele of Bradford and Karen (Randall) Rickman of Dresden; one son, Darryl (Susan) Horne of Springville; three sisters, Joan (Wilson) Phillips of Madison, MS, Lamyrle (Ronnie) Jones of Bradford, and Pam (Mike) Vinson of Humboldt; seven grandchildren, Valerie (Chad) Drewry, Hilerie Rickman, Jacquelyn (Jason) Denton, Andrew (Emily) Steele, Hayden Horne, Hallie Horne, and Justin (Kimmie) Adams; and nine great-grandchildren, Synlee Garner, Cooper Denton, Jaselyn Denton, Scarlett Steele, Caroline Steele, Vivienne Steele, Anderson Steele, Evy Adams, and Brody Adams.
