It is with a heavy heart that we announce Monica Lynn Carroll, age 67, of Saint Paul, passed away peacefully on February 16th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Monica was born on December 25th, 1957, to Lynn and the late Monica Johnson in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She grew up in a devout Catholic family. Monica married Bruce Carroll. Together, they raised five children: Ricky, Brucey (Amber), Brian (Katie), Amanda, and Andrew (Moesha). Monica was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren who brought her so much joy and laughter. Monica was known for her love of cooking and knitting, and her handmade items touched many.
Monica was preceded in death by her mother Monica Johnson, sisters Nancy and Charlene, her brothers Dan, Dean, and Greg, her daughter Megan, her ex-husband Bruce, and her grandson Kasey. She is survived by her father, Lynn Johnson, her brother John (Kelli), her brother Tom (Lois), her brother Jim (Colleen), her children; Ricky, Brucey, Brian, Amanda, and Andrew, and eleven grandchildren.
A wake will be at Oakwood Funeral Home on February 20th, from 4:00-6:00pm. A private family viewing will be held February 21st from 8:30-9:00 am, and public viewing from 9:00-11:00 am. Celebration of life service at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Monica's legacy is not just a memory, but one that will continue to touch and inspire the lives of people. Her love, compassion, and caring will forever be remembered and missed. Though her physical is no longer with us, the love she shared and the lessons she taught will resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, forever guiding and remembering her forever.
