Monna Cantrell, 76, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1948, to the late Arthur and Violet Hanning. Monna was a social and spirited woman who loved to laugh and share stories with everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time working on her website and could often be found scrolling through Facebook, keeping up with friends and family. Monna also loved to cook and never passed up the chance to go out for a good meal. She is survived by her companion, Robert McGilton; her son, Joshua Woods; and her sister, Marlene (Bill) Kittle. In addition to her parents, Monna was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Mae Taylor, and several brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Jamie Harrop. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
