Monnie "Marline" Halfhill, 68, of Londonderry, passed at 8:42 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born October 27, 1956, in Vigo, Ohio, to the late Cail and Evelyn Skaggs Hill. On November 1, 1974, she married Richard C. Halfhill who passed February 29, 2024.
Surviving are her daughters, Rachel (Dustin) Holzbacher, Stephanie Halfhill and Autumn (Tom) Lemaster; grandchildren, Reagan Holzbacher, Jacksen Pillar, Mila Pillar, Westen Lemaster, Ella Lemaster, and Baby Lemaster who is due to arrive this summer; sisters, Wilma Hill and Alice Bauman; brothers, Cail (Carol) Hill and Don (Robin) Halfhill; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a niece, Leah Dawn.
Marline enjoyed scrap booking, crocheting, jewelry making, cooking and baking. Above all, she enjoyed spending time vacationing with her late husband, daughters and grandchildren. Marline was a baptized member for 43 years and was a faithful servant at the Chillicothe Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
A celebration of her life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 in the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 137 University Drive Chillicothe, Ohio, with Larry Allen officiating. A livestream of the service will be offered through the Zoom Platform. The meeting id for the livestream will be 89054996441 and the password is 1914. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
