Morgan Danyelle Pruitt, 19, of Reidsville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Wesley Byerly and Pastor Howard Owens officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, March 29, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The burial will be held at Maple Lawn Baptist Church Cemetery.
Morgan was born in Pinehurst and lived most of her life in Reidsville. She graduated from Rockingham County High School in 2023. Morgan worked as a Physical Therapy aide at Oakridge Physical Therapy in Eden. Morgan played basketball early in life and she especially loved playing softball. She was an animal lover and even worked at the Lawndale Veterinary office. Morgan was a loyal and faithful friend. Everyone will miss her loving, sweet spirit, and infectious smile.
Morgan is survived by her father Benjamin “Ben” Pruitt; her mother Andrea Ritchie; sisters Sydney Fain (Andrew), Baylee Pruitt, Sarah Beth Pruitt, and Jewel Pruitt; paternal grandparents Danny and Janet Pruitt, Candy and Paul Hoffman; uncle Barry Ritchie (Crystal and children) and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Wilkerson Funeral Home to help with expenses or Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
