In Loving Memory of Darrell Venable
April 8, 1933 – October 5, 2025
Darrell Venable was born on April 8, 1933, to Monroe and Ziola Venable.
He was a man who believed in hard work and the value of a good day’s effort. Whether selling insurance, running his thrift store, hunting for bargains at garage sales, or sharing stories with friends, Darrell found joy in life’s simple moments.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Venable, his children Vivian, Dwight, and Traci, his parents, and his sisters Marlene and Mona.
He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Darrell’s laughter, stories, and generous spirit will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. He walked through life with quiet faith and a thankful heart, always trusting God to guide his steps. Now, his work here is done, and he has gone home to be with the Lord and his family. Where peace, rest, and joy are his forever.
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself;
that where I am, there you may be also.”
— John 14:1–3
