Our beloved daughter, Morgan Walls, age 32, of Smithfield, left this world on September 10, 2025. To know her was to know love. She was a bright light in our lives, a daughter who filled our hearts with joy, and above all, a devoted and loving mother. Her absence leaves us with a grief that words cannot truly capture. Born on February 23, 1993 in Alamogordo NM, Morgan filled our lives with joy from the moment she arrived. She grew into a woman of independence, strength, courage, and love, and she gave those gifts freely to all who were lucky enough to be in her life. She had a gift for making those around her feel seen, loved, and valued. Her laugh was contagious, her spirit was fierce, and her heart was always open to others. She loved music, dancing, nature and the night sky. Her favorite artists were Pink Floyd, Queen, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin. She loved learning about Virginia and Native American history, books and antiques. She had a style and flair all her own. These simple joys reflected the beauty of her soul. Her greatest joy and proudest role was being “Mommy” to her precious daughter, Adaline Marie Kepler. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and her love for Addie will live on in every memory, every story, and every smile. Morgan is also survived by her parents, Gene and Karin Walls, her brother, Zachary, who will carry her in their hearts always; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family as well as many dear friends who became like family. Though our time with her was far too short, Morgan’s love and beautiful spirit will forever remain with us. She will always be our daughter, our family, and one of our greatest blessings. We will celebrate her life on September 17, 2025 at St Luke’s Parish and Memorial Park Cemetery at 2 p.m., surrounded by those who love her. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, we invite donations in her memory to Richardsons Rescue, a Virginia cat rescue. https://richardsonsrescuerva.org/.
