MORRIS HALL, JR.

July 7, 1943 – January 25, 2026

Morris Hall, Jr, 82, son of Morris Hall, Sr. and Fannie Jackson, was born on July 7, 1943, in Columbus, GA. He graduated from Spencer High School.

Morris served in the US Navy as an aircraft engineer mechanic. He retired from Texaco Chevron Oil (formerly Getty Oil) and owned an electronic repair company because he loved tinkering with electronics. He was a member of Church of Christ Christian Ministries.

Morris was a member of the Master Masonic Lodge, San Joaquin Lodge #11. He played the saxophone and many instruments and was a member of a local band called the Soul of Fame Band.

Morris was preceded in death by his father, Morris Hall, Sr., stepmother, Dixie Hall, mother, Fannie Lou Jackson, stepfather, Clarence Jackson, brother, Sylvester Hall, and granddaughter, Dr. Victoreea Harris.

Morris leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Roberta Hall, sister, Ida (Edward) Lange, his children, Juan (Annette) Hall , Tonya (Fred) Grier, Kevin Hall, Tomika (Lawrence) Harris , half-sister, Patricia Kelly, step-sisters, Christine Weldon, Mickey Taylor, stepchildren, Willie (Cyndi) Smith Jr., Anita Smith and Tyson (Porsha) Smith, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family members and friends.

A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Victoreea Harris Scholarship Fund via Bold.com, established to honor the life and legacy of Morris' granddaughter.

Daddy, I miss you already. I cherish the late night talks we would have, when you worked on TV´s. The days that you picked me up from South High School. I would always say "make sure you turn the music up", I was so proud to be your daughter. But most of all, thank you for helping fred and I raise our sons into hardworking men, just like you. I love you Daddy.
