Morris Kenneth Hemsath

Funeral service for Morris Hemsath, 61-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly Friday at his home in Buffalo will be held Thursday July 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor John Beck officiating. Visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to immediately follow the funeral. Donations in Morris's memory may be made to the Morris Hemsath Memorial, a fund to help the family with expenses, in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Morris Kenneth Hemsath was born on June 26, 1962 in St. Charles, Missouri to Kenneth and Audrey Hemsath. He grew up and went to school in St. Charles and graduated from Francis Howell High School in St. Charles with the class of 1980. After high school he moved to Casper, Wyoming and took a job with a moving company. He was married on October 4, 1982 in Casper and they made their home in Casper. In 1983 they moved to St. Charles, Missouri and in 1987 they moved back to Casper where Morris continued working for moving companies. In 1995 they moved to Buffalo and Morris worked for Allied Moving. He worked in the oil field for a couple years and later worked on road construction. He retired in August of 2020 and continued living in Buffalo until his death.
Morris was an avid wood worker and made beautiful furniture and was well known for making cradles for the New Years babies in honor of his son Matthew. He was an avid Nascar fan of Jeff Gordon and could be found in his chair, Mountain Dew in hand ready to watch the St. Louis Cardinals take the mound.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Hemsath of Buffalo; two daughters, Rebecca Cleveland and her husband Rob of Buffalo and Carmin Enenbach and her partner Mark Chavez of Odebolt, Iowa; two brothers Michael Hemsath of St. Louis, Missouri and Paul Hemsath and his wife Karen of Stanton, Kentucky; three sisters Patricia Montgomery of St. Charles, Missouri, Rose Bakula and her husband John of Sedgewickville, Missouri and Debra Montalbono and her husband Michael of St. Louis, Missouri, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Matthew Hemsath and one sister Cathy Tuttle.
