Morris Levern Peterson, Sr., the son of the late Maybell Peterson and the late K. C. Hudson was born on February 6, 1960, in Florence, South Carolina. He passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. 

Morris attended the schools in Florence School District One and was a proud Class of 1979, Wilson High School graduate. 

He was employed with Rental Uniform for one year before he enlisted in the United States Armed Forces. Upon his tenure, he received an honorable discharge for his dedicated service to his country. 

Morris relocated to Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and became an entrepreneur as a Maintenance Technician. He was also employed as a mentor with a Rehabilitation Center.

He was married to Yolanda Graham Peterson. After several years, Morris relocated to Florence, South Carolina and continued his business as a Maintenance Technician.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Maybell Peterson and K.C. Hudson; and a brother, Allen Peterson.

Morris leaves to cherish his precious memories: a wife, Yolanda Graham Peterson; two daughters, Na Tisha Ham and Lavondra Ham; a son, Morris I. Peterson, Jr.; an adopted daughter, Antvrice Ham; a stepson, Daiquan M. Graham; three grandchildren, Tisharah Morton, Sebostian Ham and Ayden Ham: two sisters, Joan Peterson and Lora (Isaac) Gibson; one brother, Michael Peterson; two aunts, Evelyn Scott-Davis and Elease Williams; a mother-in-law, Evelyn Graham; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
