Moses L. (Mose) Jackson 82 of rural Ullin, Illinois was born to the late Isaiah Jackson and Ora Lee (Jones) Jackson in selma, Tennessee. Mose have lived in southern Illinois since 1977 when he moved here and became a member of the Israelite Bible class, serving the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He attended bible class on a regular basis. He attended the children and adult classes until the day of his passing. When he spoke in class he had everyone's attention with his powerful voice. His presence will be missed tremendously.

Mose was a man that worked hard all of his life fearlessly. He was full of parenting wit sense and was a great help to many people along his journey. He retired from Gutterman Motors in Cairo, Illinois in the maintenance department after many years of service. He also took pride in providing lawn care to the community. He cut wood and delivered wood in the winter and he loved hunting and fishing.

Mose was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings: Jessie, Joe, Billy, Thomas, Leonard and Elane.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving children: Tamar (James) Wyatt, Achsah (Corey) Jackson, Tambra (Clifford) Wyatt, Sophie (Charlie) Smith, Anthony Wyatt, Micah (Katrina) Wyatt and Randall Wyatt. In addition he leaves two siblings, Martha and Williams, a host of grandchildren and three special friends; Cleo Campbell, Raymond Rice and Gene Schoffner and a host of other relatives and friends

Visitation for Moses L. Jackson will be held on Monday February 16, 2026 at Massie funeral Home in Mounds, Illinois from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Israelite Bible Class Cemetery in rural Ullin, Illinois. Professional Services and Care have been Entrusted to Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, Illinois.
