Mr. David Abeling Obituary
David Gregory Abeling, age 62, of Winder, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 26, 2025, at his residence. A lifelong resident of Georgia, he was born on March 24, 1963.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Abeling and Marlene Waters Abeling. He had a deep love for music, animals, and his family. An avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, he also enjoyed playing guitar, collecting pinball machines, visiting amusement parks and riding rollercoasters.
He is survived by his sisters, Lynn Abeling Hayes (Gary), Sharon Abeling Bush (Jeff), Leigh Ann Abeling, and Carol Abeling Hornsby, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The immediate family will be holding a private gathering.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance or Best Friends Animal Society.
Maddox-Carter Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
