Mr. Herbert Hines, Jr., 74 of, Leland, NC passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Crystal Springs Missionary Baptist Church, 4754 Blue Banks Rd. NE, Leland, NC 28451. Burial will follow at Crystal Springs Cemetery, (across the street from the church) on Blue Banks Rd. NE, Leland, NC 28451. Viewing will be held at Crystal Springs Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2:00PM (one-hour prior) and following the services.
Mr. Herbert Hines, Jr., is survived by his (Spouse) Catherine Hines of Wilmington, NC; (1-Son) Timothy Hines of Boston, MA; (2- Daughter’s) Aundrea (Thaddeus) James of Leland, NC and Sharon (James) Carpenter of Wilmington, NC; (10-Grandchildren); (6-Great-Grandchildren); (3-Sister's) Martha (Izear) Avant of Fort Pierce, FL, Shirley Hines-Brown of Fayetteville, NC, Carolyn (Robert) Pollard of Riegelwood, NC; (4-Brother's) Robert (Mary) Troy of Holly Hill, SC, Wendell Hines, Herbert (Charlene) Hines, Jr., and Bobby Hines all of Riegelwood, NC; (2-Sister-in-Laws) Joyce Hines of Delco, NC; and Kimberly Hines of Wilmington, NC.
Mr. Hines is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
